Hi, I’m Ursula!
I’m a registered psychologist and the founder of Bear Hug Psychology.
I work with adults and young people (16+) in a way that’s collaborative, neuroaffirming, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and grounded in evidence-based care.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or unsure where to begin, this is a space to slow down, feel heard, and explore ways to respond to life with more understanding and ease.

Where and How We Can Work Together
I see clients in person in my calm, leafy Ashgrove therapy space on Mondays and Tuesdays, and also offer telehealth sessions Australia-wide via secure video.
Your sessions are 50 minutes long and tailored to your needs - whether that’s building practical skills, exploring the deeper “why” behind your challenges, or finding more ease in daily life.
The Therapy Space
My therapy room in Ashgrove is designed to feel calm, cosy, and welcoming, far from a typical clinical setting.
Nestled in a lush, green pocket of the suburb, it’s filled with natural light, soft furnishings, leafy plants and a complimentary tea bar.
It’s a space where you can settle in, take a breath, and feel at ease.
